Why, hello there!!
You know what? The title’s right! It has been a long few weeks, what with moving house, an alice in wonderland party, halloween, and a small house fire, and several letters sent to the wrong address, BUT!!! It’s finally finished! I have moved, the bedroom is decorated and life is good. 
So, moving house went well, took a few hours (and by a few I mean about 7!!!) and I made a new friend, who I named felix, lol, shown below
The fire…
Okayy, basically, there was a woodburner on the very outer corner of our new patio, and we were burning some garden rubbish and my dad stayed outside until the fire had gone out. Naturally, after moving we had cardboard piled up against the house, and I think you can see where this is going, my dad came in, for a minute, when he went back out, the cardboard was on fire. Which is wierd seeing as the woodburner couldn’t have been further away from the cardboard, anyway, the fire burned through a wire wich cut electricity for four houses including ours. at this point, i was grabbing dogs, and hurrying my little brother and sister out of the house. While I was doing this, my mum, dad and older brother were phoning the fire brigade and throwing jugs of water over the fire so that it didn’t get inside the house. Luckily, the fire station is literally just around the corner, so they got to the house in under a minute. So big thanks to them, it could have been so much worse. Big unthank you, however, to the fire cheif, who, without our permission, went to the papers and had an article wrote about the incident… mum was not happy, and wrote several letters… though I’m not sure who to.
and finally…
The alice in wonderland party!!! Pure epicness on a stick! I was alice, I ate alot of sugar cubes… Tasty, tasty sugar cubes… Then we took epic photos and pranced around the street in full costume. I’ll never forget that.. partly because the photos are on facebook, and partly because it was amazing Here’s a snippet of the action
